Brick by brick, I build my

heart into an imposing ediface so

that if my love alone won’t

impress you, the vessel that

houses it will. Stone by stone, I

rearrange my love into a

wondrous thing to awe you

into acceptance. I only have

one heart to give and it is

much worn and mended. Hearts much

smarter have gone so cheaply

that I guess I must be

craze to ask this price for mine, and

I must toss in some extras.

A burning river, a jaguar mask,

a secret courtyard, a

sacrificial stone.

Have I got your attention?
