Never believe anything a poet says.
They are notorious liars,
they are supreme manipulators of
words. They will shock you with
some raw and brutal truth and you
will start to believe everything they say.
You will then have fallen into their trap!
At first it’s a few lies sprinkled
here and there – they will watch
for your reaction. The lies will
get better and better – at this point
you will have to pore over their words to find
anything real and when you find it,
it won’t much resemble itself, it has been
stretched and twisted, pounded into place.
Beware, dear reader, who enters
this world, don’t trust anything
you read. You are being manipulated.
