I am becoming accustomed to the

boundaries. I find I don’t need

so much as I thought. I’ve

learned patience and trust, two

valuable traits that should serve

me in the future. Some say I’m a

fool to settle for this life of

so little, and a fool to trust

you in particular. The patience, however,

impresses everyone. So there, it’s

not like you haven’t given me anything, it’s

not like you haven’t been a

good influence on my life at

least in that one small thing.

I pace around the little corner of

your life where I live, try not

to watch the clock, try not to wish for more.

I will take what you can give me. I will

make it be enough.
